Ive been grinding my own arches to get my 195/50/15 which are rougly the same size as what your 16s would be... Theres a lip on the inner arch which will catch.. Im still grinding mine till it doesnt - doing it a step at the time..

Just to add, you might be better with a 172 for the comfort.. I know a few people who have said the Cup seats arnt the best! The 172 ones are really nice.. Hehe.

Low down torque is something the Valver wont have.. The only way (I believe) to get the low down torque is to get a Williams engine in there..
