Nipped into Asda last night for a couple of things and came back out to find the car wouldn't start. Called up Ben (cheers bud) and he came and tried to give me a jump start but the car was only firing slightly before dying, eventually it only became a clunk at start up.

Someone in another thread suggested that there light was due to a combination of the brake pedal sensor and the throttle unit control.
COULD IT BE THAT?
Sounds like mine at the minute, every time I switch it off I wonder if I'm going to have to call out the RAC.
On a side note how did you know it's the brake switch operating the throttle, as I have the same problem and Arnold Clark couldn't work it out?
