Easy to fit (if you arent me), but a real pain to get to fit correctly. My guess is youll be adjusting it for weeks to come!
I had to have Demon Tweeks fit mine twice!
If Id kept the Pipercross it would have paid for itself and more by the second service. You just buy the cleaning kit for it and it should last for a very very long time.
Im sure reading the instructions for the ITG, that doesnt last as long, but still outlasts an OE filter by 3 to 4 times.
Noel, Ive placed my GPS reciever on the ledge by the right rear window. It gets a perfect lock every time in no time at all.
The laser detector is at the base of the windscreen just above the wipers. You can see that in the pictures in the link I posted further up this thread.
I risked using the jacking points!! I was very careful then placed an axle stand under the cross section of the wishbone.
You may want to place a large bit of wood in between the jack and the jacking point to spead the load a little, Im sure youve read how they like to bend.
lol, I put mine on the ramps to move my exhaust a while ago and soon gave up. Ill be doing the same as you in a few weeks when I remove it. Sod getting under the car. :D
When I took out my policy this year with Tesco I asked the question and they said it was at additional cost to under 25s, so it wasnt a problem for me.
Maybe they are tightening things up a bit.
I remember a good 5 or so years ago drove my bosses Mercedes 280SL 3rd party on my insurance. He...
Theres no such thing as a Friday afternoon car from Renault. Its more Thursday as they are too busy eating cheese, and riding around on bikes with stripy jumpers on with garlick around their necks on Fridays. :p
No, its not. A lot of companies place an age restriction on this. Tesco for instance charge extra for drivers under the age of 25 to be able to drive other peoples cars third party.
You need to check your policy or call your insurance company to find out for sure.
Sounds good to me, or you could pop along to one of the "official" mids meets?
Any idea what time you are collecting it? I go fairly close to Motorhouse 2000 on my way home. I could swing by and say hello.
Big exhausts are gay, stealth exhausts are gay, so I guess that just leaves the Supersprint then? Which is possibly the most gay as people point and laugh at the stupidly loud Clio. :p
Thats Motorpoint for you.
Ive said this before, that its never a good idea to order a car from a car supermarket as they are only good at shifting what they have. They very little control of what stock is coming in.
I got my Blue 172 from Motorpoint as it was in at the time. Im having to...
Thatll save you a few quid, but you still need the unit itself which is sat on my desk.
I got mine from http://www.radardetectors.co.ukwww.radardetectors.co.uk for £349.99
When I pointed it out on mine, at 3 weeks old, the service guy said, "theyll be tight if we replace them". Which is what I wanted. He then said "Its not as bad as our courtesy cars". Well its not one of there cars its my 3 week old 172!! Then finally he said "it seems okay to me" to which I...
I had new runners 3 weeks after getting mine to stop that Pete. It was fine for a few weeks after that but now the passenger seat moves around a lot again.
I think it was said at the time that finding something to squeeze the runners in fixed it, but obviously made it harder to slide the seat...
I used to have a Panther Black Focus as my company car. As the state of the company got worse I lost interest in the car. When I did wash it I used a car wash just because my misses enjoyed it. ;)
It completely wrecked the Metallic black finish. It would have taken a lot of waxing to get it...
