I think it depends a lot on the dealer. My 172 is a parallel import and has been in for work numerous times. The dealer I use has never said a word about its origins. My 182 will be a UK car though.
I was told that by one of the guys on the Origin stand at the Motorshow.
I got 2 from here: http://www.radardetectors.co.uk/origin_b2.htmhttp://www.radardetectors.co.uk/origin_b2.htm
They are approved resellers so you get the warranty, plus they sold them me for £349.99 each.

Take a look at these. They look really comfortable.

I can believe thats a write off. I had a similar impact 5 years ago in a 200 Vi. It didnt look to bad to me, but the recovery guy said they would write it off, and they did.
The car was worth about £6.5k, and although it didnt look too bad it was shaped like a Banana and needed a lot...
Ive often wondered about this too. Even with the needle is firmly in the red I still have a good 10 litres in the tank!!
I might see if I can get the light on then.
I dont know what the tyre stuff was, my brother sent it over from Florida when my parents last visited. It smells of cherry though.
I really should have waxed your roof.
5 weeks is optimistic. When I placed the order for mine the system gave a rough date of the 16th of this month, but once my car was on the production line they gave me the 22nd.
I placed my order on the 26th of April.
I was told the 16th originally, but that was a provisional date. I called the dealer Tuesday of last week and was told the 22nd. If the car arrives there on the 22nd I can have it that evening.
Jesus Tom, surely that wasnt in the 182? The best I see is almost 300 miles on a full tank with a mix of motorway and city driving.
I take it Black Kro has been watching Top Gear. ;)
Do you have any pictures Jeremy?
Just out of curiosity, Blue is blue and green is green, how can green suddenely be called blue? Or is this like brown being the new black? ;)
