I have to agree that the Contis are a very good tyre, but the ride isnt as good as with the F1s on. The contis offered very good levels of grip and very progressive break away if cornering too hard. The F1s really stick to the road like glue and inspire a lot more confidence.
The sidewall is...
Just found my invoice out.

I drive in size 10 Adidas trainers, or 9 Nike. I have absolutely no problems at all. A good few years ago I tried a 106 GTi and couldnt drive it in trainers.
I noticed Rich. The Civic forums are very much like the CS ones. Most members post sensible comments, others end up resorting to bread van and womens cars comments.
Which doesnt bother most normal people.
haha, you should see the comments on the Civic forums.
They are blaming a different Stig, different weather/temperature and the Clio using Semi slicks. LOL.
Not that I care, but it does make you laugh.
They rarely have a bad thing to say about Clios, excpept for the build of course. But then seeing as the inside of the boot on a Turbo 2000 doesnt even have a lining, they can talk. LOL

I swapped all 4. They certainly grip a lot better, they do feel a little softer on the ride too. They arent wearing too well but then that was to be expected.
£186 is a lot too. I paid £72.50 a tyre at Kwik Fit.

But they havent added the 182 to the chart yet. It ran a 1.33 something, just a little slower than the Golf R32. Oooo look at what it beat. :D
The entire review was exactly what I was expecting to hear, except for the comment about TQ. Clarkson sounded like he was reading the spec sheet, which is rare for him. LOL
Ive got used to the high seat position now and wouldnt want to change it.
Ian, there is the Cups suspension and spoiler pack.
If you choose the spoiler pack you cant have sat nav. The car on Top Gear didnt have a Cup spoiler, but did have the splitter. You cant order one like that but can get a splitter later.
He was always going to do that.
I dont think he could have put it better if hed tried. Good effort.
That comment earlier in the show about biscuit tin wrapper things. Hes obviously driven my 172. ;)
Renault dealers can enter the VIN and find out which country your car was originally sold in. Any EU country and you are fine, anywhere else and you dont have any Renault Warranty cover.
Mine is from Holland, and Ive never had any problems with the dealership who look after mine.
Im trading...
LOL, I asked this very same question about a month ago and I think we can to the conclusion that Carbon wax would work.
But having seen 172Fast!s pictures I might spend a bit more!
There seem to be quiet a few ex Impreza owners who found the Cup/172/182 to be a good low cost alternative. It appears the main reasons are running costs (I know how thirsty Rus are) and the fact that its hard to chuck a 4wd car about and get the most out of it on the roads, but you can really...
