    197 steering wheel in 182

The wiring's different iirc, so it would fit but not with the airbag.

    SchwepTek Ph1 1st Track Outing.

Fair enough. You've got plenty of options for a ph1. I'd jump on these if I were you# http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=449606

    SchwepTek Ph1 1st Track Outing.

I honestly don't understand the point of cheap coilovers for a track car. Wait 6 months and get decent stuff on!

Yozza too loud for track :(

Don't get a ktec stealth on a ph1. Awful fit.

RB 200 Cup + Cup spoiler

Each to their own. IMO you didn't lose anything important with the 182cup. The 197/200 has an excellent driving position, helped in no small part by the steering wheel adjustability. You lose that with the cup, so for me it would be ff.

RB 200 Cup + Cup spoiler

So they've been testing the cup? The packed 200 will drive exactly the same, but has a better driving position. You lose too much for minimal weight loss IMO.

    Do i buy a mk1 or mk2 172? Advice Please

I've owned both. The ph2 has the nicer interior and is more refned. The ph1 is more fun, slightly quicker. Drive them both before deciding. Either way, all the belts should of been done.

RB 200 Cup + Cup spoiler

They all look terrible IMO. The front doesn't work, in any way. And I have no idea why anyone would get the cup. Even more pointless than the 182cup.

    New Meg RS250 pics

Having seen a few mk6 Golf GTi's, I can't think of a single reason to buy the Meg. Unless it was a Brewster's Million's type situation, and you need as much depreciation as possible.

Is it time to sell up?

The old man ran an M5. f**king epic running costs, even when new. And thats the cheapest of the options! The S8 is pretty horrendous to insure iirc, alu panels costs a f**king fortune to replace!! TVR's, no matter how many glue addicts tell me they are reliable, I simply don't believe that the...

clio 172 cup no ABS, uprating brakes to safer or just as safe as ABS..

Sorry, that's nonsense. If you're a frigging excellent driver that would be true, but for 99.9% of people on here you'd stop quicker.

clio 172 cup no ABS, uprating brakes to safer or just as safe as ABS..

I'd rather a ph1 all day long. Pretty much the same weight, but you get abs and ac. I've done a few advanced driving days, but to say that makes ABS irrelevant is naive. Even the very best drivers can get caught out, it happens. I'd rather have ABS than not. A ph1 + decent coilovers (KW, H&R)...

    Replacement Trophy Suspension

I still don't understand why you want to spend £800+ on coilovers when you could have the sachs refurbed, buy standard bits (to sell on after) and have change from £500?????

    Replacement Trophy Suspension

Anything sub £800 would be a downgrade after Sachs. If you don't have to use it daily just leave the trophy on axle stands while the sachs are away.
