RB 200 Cup + Cup spoiler

My mate got the correct spoiler fitted yesterday after a dealership mix-up...I think I'm in lurve and now thinking how much I could get for my lovely mint condition well cared for 172 Cup LOL. The 200 Cup's run in now so had a proper run out in it, I want one, badly.

Exposed silver screw heads...spoiler on stands offs...can anyone say...


HAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLFFFFFFFFFFOOOOOOORRRRRRDDDDDDDSSSSSSSSSSSSS!


They should do what the did with the 182 and offer a larger spolier of similar appearance to the stock item ala Cup or Trophy/V6. They kept the car looking balanced, the 197/200 spoiler unbalances the car making it look awkward.

+ 1 i have a rb 197 and the spoiler gets a lot off good press from poeple! not to over the top imo

that 200 looks how i would want mine :approve: apart from those wheels:S i reckon white ultraleggeras would looks awsum with that!

I don't get the lack of love for these wheels?

OK, they're nothing special, but what's so bad about them?

Wasn't long ago amphasite was the ONLY colour to have...
 
the wheels are shocking, no other word for it. just look really cheap and let the rest of the car down imo!
 
man i love those wheels

think they are very marmite though, you either love them or hate them. They look better in the flesh
 
Look a pain to clean.

Re cup spoiler, like the MK3 as a whole, they never photograph well, but in the flesh they are cool. Did dabble with getting one for mine, but decided against it (for now)
 
I must be weird cos I actually really like the wheels, but think the spoiler looks a bit OTT and aftermarket!
 
They all look terrible IMO. The front doesn't work, in any way. And I have no idea why anyone would get the cup. Even more pointless than the 182cup.
 
I'd have a Cup no bother. Afterall, its what all the mags have been testing afaik.

Also my looks would make up for the cars bad ones ;)
 
So they've been testing the cup? The packed 200 will drive exactly the same, but has a better driving position. You lose too much for minimal weight loss IMO.
 
I have no doubt it will be the same, same as the 182 cheap/ 182 cup packed.

Wouldnt bother me in the slightest tbh

Each to their own. IMO you didn't lose anything important with the 182cup. The 197/200 has an excellent driving position, helped in no small part by the steering wheel adjustability. You lose that with the cup, so for me it would be ff.
 
Love the 200 and thats the reason i own one. Hate them wheels and the spoiler and thats the reason i dont own them. As said before i think the spoiler is very "halfords stick on rubbish" looking. Its your mates car and if he is happy with it its his choice at the end of the day :D
