Just been offered £10k for mine trade in. That sounds pretty good to me for an 03 172 with 15500 on the clock.

Is there anything I need to know about re fitting the original exhaust to my 172. It was cut into two pieces when removed so I assume I need a sleeve to re join the parts? Can anyone shed any light on this for me please? Thanks Lee

Ive just been to my local Honda dealer to see what hell offer for my car. Its an 03 172 EU import with 15500 on the clock. He offered me £10k which seemed very good to me. I think I may be paying him a visit again in the coming months to discuss things further. :D

Yup, Magnex twin 3.5". Noise is spot on. That would be my concern with the K Tec having heard there current range. Its the looks Im tired of. Ive always liked the hidden tail pipe on the 172, so would quite like it back again, only with a better noise. Ill wait and see what its like on...

Mine was underwritten by Norwich Union, who I wasnt going to go with on the grounds that they have moved there support out of the UK!!!

So far my best quote has been from Greenlight at £600.00 with a £300 XS Im currently on the phone to Performance Direct. £955 with £400 XS I was with the AA. Going to phone them in a minute and cancel my AA cover and join the RAC instead.:D

From Powerbulbs I just ordered two packs of Phillips Silver Vision bulbs, they send the correct ones and they also give you a pack of free blue vision side light bulbs. The indicators are really easy to change, the sidelights are a bit of a pig unless you have small hands. Worth it though...

It amazed me how such a small change can make such a noticable difference. I think I have jon_r to thank for me getting mine. He posted a before and after and that was it, I ordered them right away. Aww, the car was just a few weeks old in that bottom picture. :oops:

I think the manual states 33 front 31 rear, but higher if you do a lot of motorway driving. Ive not got it to hand to check though.
