If it's at high revs in first and second, i'd bet pretty much anything on engine mounts. Check they're all tight, but it's most likely the dogbone.

Normally, silver Ph2 172's are iceburg. Silver 182's are titanium. Noticably different, unfortunately.

There's a lower gearbox mount, too. Just get an OE one, though. The two top ones and the dogbone uprated will be fine.

Removing the rubber won't make it any lower, it'll just rattle like a b**ch. If you're after slammage, get coilovers.
