Only thing i'd have to change is the lamps, for the ones with black surrounds. I'm sriously considering come late spring............
White, Recaros, NO A/C, and not the speedlines. Think i'd stick with the standard 197 cup chassis alloys tbh
Well i use the PC, (porter cable) as probably most do on here. I tend to use the Intensive polish on the sonus yellow bad, as this has more 'bite' for swirl marks etc. One i've done that, i follow up with Final finish on a sonus white pad. Gives fantastic results on black, which is probably the...
exactly, now black..........................................
That car is stunning!!! Exactly the spec i'd have bar the alloys. Just noticed the centre caps dont match the wheel colour?
Front around 12mm (10mm lower than a cupped 182, which is 3mm lower than an uncupped version)
Remember if you were going to fit it, you'd also need new 182 cup/trophy/cup-packed hubs. These have a 60mm boltspacing on the hub, which is different to 172's.
The red one is x 1 resistor and fuse for the airbag. Unfortuantley you need 2!!!! Dont get 2 with a momo boss kit for some reason? The black one i have no idea though?
sorry, you have them in proper connectors? I just doubled the ends over and sat them in the connectors then wound some tape round it (pikey way lol). Hmmm not much else i can think of other than checking pre-tentioner connectors, and seat connectors also.
Thats the idea, just a light going over, not been done since Aug, as for the FF.............um, its in the shed! (far too cold to venture out now lo!!!l) Would it matter?
*Thread highjack!!
oooh Richy i need some advice!!! I have some carlack 68 paint cleaner. As i'm going over the car with some final finish xmas week, do i really need it? As in should i just was the car etc, then Final Finish with PC, the top off with some collinites?
Just watch you dont get water in the sparkplug holes. I did and it ran like a bag of shite!!!! So if it starts running rough, you now know where to look ;)
Looking at these pics makes me miss my Cup even more. Always loved this one :)
