Yep located in the passenger wheel arch by the horn. Unplug the multiplug, plug the vaccum hose and it'll be fine. I removed mine on both 172 and 182. :)
Typical in the way you imply by the top quote that 7k would be a normal price. That would get you a dog rough 53/04/54 plate. He wanted a 'mint' unmarked example. 8k + would get an nice example.
To true. Apparently 197's are 10k in according to this thread. I'd like to be shown where as i want one and look everyother day, and never seen one for that price!!!!!!
Fred refurbs (the anthricite ones) trophy wasn't out when i did them, so shows you how long ago lol
Very close to, if not ford graphite grey. I re did the centrecaps and it was an exact match in my eyes
:)
I have seen another racing blue round nantwich. Bit poor though. White team dynamics multispokes, VERY poor aftermarket stripes fitted wrong, and too thick. Blue flame too. Nearly shed a tear:(
sure it aint the charcoal cannister? Can you here it outside the car? A dephaser makes the car sound PROPER rough. A faulty charcoal cannister solinoid tick tick ticks on idle and cruise, then dissapears
The front hubs on a 182 cup/cuppacked and trophy are different. They have bigger bearings and 60mm hub to damper spacing bolts. These are different to the phase 1 and 2 172's. Also the rear stub axles are different on the 172 cup 182 cuppacked/cup and trophy. You could just run spacers etc on...
But........... a depahser can just sound noisy. I know of a cup on here that did it for 2 yrs or so. DR rollos was a freak as the pully sheared off. Does the noise disapear once on the move, just noisy at idle? Get it changed though.
Pics used off site, hope nobody minds
Below is a 'basic' 182. It has xenons (note the washer jets in the bumper) Full leather interior. It has NO cup packs. No bumper splitter, small boot spoiler, 'soft' not as focused suspension.
Below is the same as the car above, but is cup packed...
I've been banging on about it since late 2005!!!!!! flatspots, poor build w**k!!!!!! I binned mine!!! Just sourced a Maxogen last week for the 182. 3 months old, boxed, £160!!!!. Poor lad didnt know its value. I could sell that on for £200 easy!!!!!!
These were back in early 2005, i was one of the founders of anthricite wheels on a cup ;)
Agree i purchased some new turinis last August. The high powder silver on the standard finish works so well against the blue. Powder coat refurbs dont dive this finish, always look dull
your old school cool though ;)
I do like the Trophy mind, and it was a toss up between my 182 and a Trophy that were both local. I ended up with the 182 as i loved the H&R's on my cup (adjustable ride heigh too), already had the trophy seats, and wasn't sure on the trophy colour tbh.
