Sounds pretty good to me.
What you should do though is look around for a similar car for sale. If its going for more, then take a copy of the advert to show it your insurers. If you can prove its worth more then they will often make a better offer.
I mentioned to the AA that mine was an EU import. All they wanted to know was is it RHD and UK spec. I told them it had an aftermarket alarm too, they asked what category and then said it makes no difference as its the same class as the dealer fitted item. Ive not had any warranty issues...
What you on about Loony?
I think mine has come back since having my 20 stone 6 foot 5 mate in the car. I think Ill have a bash at closing the runners up.
Dont start me on this!! As you know, I had new runners for mine when the car was two weeks old. Its gone 3 months before the problem returned :@
Im going to try packing a shed load of grease along the runner!!!!!
Id not make the decision based on that alone, but it would certainly count as a plus point.
Having had a Focus for 2 and a half years as my company car, I never had any problems with either the car or the dealers.
You can buy one from any main dealer for about £7.
I have a spare if you get stuck. I got sick of waiting for mine to be sent so purchased another one.
In heavy fog main beam just bounces back off the fog. Its usually best to use your fogs lights and side lights in those conditions.
Surely there is a switch for them?
Saw a Clio with its fogs on the other morning.:@ I had sunglasses on!!!
Then what the hell does that make me? :o
Out on the road the Silver looks the most obvious of the 4 colours. I think its due to the grill looking more obvious. I had a blue one like mine behind me the other day, and I could tell it was a 172, but its certainly not as easy to tell as a silver...
Not good. Wolvo are Independant arent they?
I was waiting 2 and a half hours while they sorted the front suspension tower mod out. They offered me a coffee and appologised for the delay.
I took a picture of the milage reading before leaving the car. They covered a mile in it, enough to do...
I have to admit. £68 for an oil and filter change this week didnt bring a smile to my face. But I was relieved to find they had put the sump plug and filler cap back on!! Something is very wrong where you think like that......
So far, Ive been to the main dealer twice, and on both occasions...
I dont know, but Ive always tried to avoid doing it. Just like I try and avoid really short journeys. Not too much of an issue in the 172 though as its warmed up in next to no time.
I had a look at both mikes and roamers a month or so ago. Roamers was the louder of the two, and had a little rattle at the time ;) but did sound great. Mikes was more to my taste, made a really nice noise both inside and outside the car and not too loud.
It could be the same thing. Its a a fair old clunk. I used to get it when cornering on a bumpy surface. I think what they do has some thing to do with grinding the top of the suspension towers? There was another post about in on her last week. Its a known problem which they deal with under...
No probs.
Ive just had an oil and filter change done at 5k. :o£68.:o They also did the modification to the suspension mounts at the front. So far so good. Theyve never once been bothered about the origins of my car.
Although my knocking passenger seat is back. It sounds like Im driving...

Some nice ones here :D Dont expect too much from the site, its just something to do to try and stop me continually surfing p**n! :o
Cheers Jason,
Ill give it some stick on the way home this evening see if it still does it. There are certain corners I know it always happens on.
I should just be happy it feels a little tighter and the wheel now points straight forward!!
Good luck.
