There's a few different cars like this, tbh. GTi-6's are the same. £1500 will see you a really well looked after 80-90k car. That and the Ph1 172 are so much car for the money!

Not much difference, I've found. The VTS/GTi just beg to be pushed hard, though. I see about 29/30mpg from my XSi 16v.
