No. The plastic covering on the spring will just be for cosmetics. As long as the spring is still doing it's job, it'll be fine.. If you're worried, cover it in black tape.

If they're bright white, and not yellowy, then they sound like LED lights.. Mine passed the MOT with them in..

On rear brakes, no. They do f**k all anyway.

Probably quite a simple one.. Sony Vaio PC, a few years old. Running XP. When I click start and shut down, nothing happens.. Any ideas at all guys? If I hold the power button down, it turns off fine, and doesn't give any error messages upon start up.. :cool:

As stated, where the gearbox bellhousing meets the engine block, at the top. Remove airbox. It's held on by two 10mm bolts.

LOL! The TDC sensor is located at the top of the gearbox, where the bell housing meets the engine block. Held on by two 10mm bolts. I'm not certain how many wires there are, but I think I've got a spare sensor in the garage..

The sat nav is correct, your car's speedo isn't. Many variants affect why the speedo reads more than your car is actually going. Indicated (on speedo) 45mph, is fine in a 40. Indicated 80mph is fine in a 70mph, IME.

For a service, it won't make any difference. MOT is a different story.

Proper brake feel ftw. Shopping cars and their windscreen endangering servos ftl.

I doubt it, but the more powerful servo would make the brakes feel sharper from cold.. Also, keep in mind that you'll probably be going faster in your 182 than in the 1.4, so it's all relative, really..
