what colour is the car? Try some autoglym super resin polish, can get it in halfords.

No, phase 1 has a push in type join after the cat, the phase two has a flange type fitting, and is slightly shorter

Imo cams and a remap is as far as i'd take a 172/182 tbh The outlay for further bhp just isnt worth it.
