i had it removed in my punto turbo for two years, no problemo. (high boostage ;)) Also remove the rubber seal on the slam panel to let some air through ;)
A bit of foam makes fook all difference to cabin noise imo, my 182 with cup-packs sounds no different to the Cup imo. 3rd year warrenty is probably not worth the paper its written on from Renault any how :)
lol same here..? Heavy 'bin lid wheels', not as light etc etc. 172 cup all day long. you wont miss aircon, easier for engine mods without (smaller alternator, more room in the bay) summer has gone too ;) 172 has thinner glass. Also with out the aircon no power sapping pump to drive :)
nothing wrong with the stock discs and DS2500 combo i'm running. Had that set up on my Cup for around 2.5 yrs. They got a pasting too. No need for carbon jobbies imo
no going back now, trust me :)

First use. Get a wee bit of quick detail to prime the pad as it will be dry. Then a squirt of polish across the pad will suffice. Before turning the machine on, dab the pad across the panel to spred it out a wee bit, but if say doing a bonnet maybe split it into 1/4 at a time. Then with the pad...
Yep. I dont use poorboys, but for harsh swirl removal i use menzerna Intensive Polish on a yellow pad, then followed by Final Finish with the white pad. I then egp the car, and topped off with a wax, petes 53 on my car. Will give good results
gaz/not Rich ;)
Arch liner imo must have been out before, they have torx bits and x2 plastic bungs in each side, these will not have been refitted, not a chance the liner will fall out with these fitted..... hardly the cars fault lol Airbag lights 9 times out of ten will be the connectors under the seats, easy...
Top mounts, scrappy job, in your pocket ;) lol i'm 99% sure all clio mk2 are the same. iirc is there not an allen key insert in the top of the shock, to help lock the nut down?
