Well, I got a mate who does bodywork and mechanics.. so he did my bonnet, bodykit etc.. (cheaper than most bodyshops anyway) just thought Id ask this guy if hed grind it off - was honestly thinking it was a 30min job - just get the air sander on it and take it away - I was going to seal it...

Mate, Ive wanted one forever. They are truely mint cars.. My dream car, but most people dont understand why. Id rather have one than almost any car! I went to the launch of the Impreza III, and they brought the STi out at the end.. mint, so so so mint. Daz.

Probably a lot of trouble.. no power steering isnt a problem is it? I dont have it.. but its so light its not much of a problem.. I dont notice it now Im used to it! Daz.

Use a multimeter to determine which is +ve and which is -ve. Purple Cables mean very little.. heh.

I have one.. got an electronic sander too. ... but I thought for such a small job and cost, Id get someone who knows what they are doing on the job, so it can be sealed properly.. and all tidy.. didnt expect a £150 quote! Daz.

This isnt rolling Fred.. its simply grinding a 5mm arch lip off.. nothing else... Isnt rolling where the whole arch gets the treatment?

Isnt the Megane 2.0 16v engine the same as the Williams engine?

hah, so.. Instead of going to me mate to do a little arch grinding, I went to a local bodyshop - thinking, hell do it for about £20. What I asked for was: The arch lip on both back arches to be grinded off. Nothing more, Id seal it myself - Just I didnt have the right tool to do that! So...

Yea, but at least you have the buttons to press! If you didnt have the immobilsers, you might not have the car!

I was told when I had my Clifford fitted, that the original couldnt be removed. Someone on here reckons the standard immobiser on late Mk1s.. is infact controlled by the ECU.. Daz.

My starter was bad like that. When I took mine out, there were no bushes (brushes? not 100% sure) in the end holding the main spinning thing (technical!) in! So when starting, it was at an angle using loooooooooooooooads of power and getting nowhere.. Changed starter, and its mint! Sometimes...

Youve been caning it, so could it be heat? I know people have had problems! Earth is probably more likely seeing as youve just had a conversion! Daz.

I didnt fit it.. but its not hard. Bonding Glue with it and Two bolts which go through tailgate.. Dunno how much the brakelight one is from Prima, but mine without the light was £65.00. I know Euro Car Parts did the one with the Brake Light - Brun has it! Think it was £90 something...

They do two sorts.. Phase1 and Phase2. I have Phase2s on my Clio.. (none-16v). - They really are very nice wheels. Daz.
