    Eh no. Cambelt would have snapped due to it perishing or it not being replaced when it should have, i.e once every 5 years. Damage could be to valves, pistons etc.

    Get a wire coat hanger, bend it in two then slot it iinto the two holes either side of the player then pull it out.

    I peeled mine off, cut all the old glue off the wheel then used some silicone to stick mine back down.
