That could well be the answer, I presumed it would be wired into the two bigger blocks! Plus there is a spare port on the back of the stereo! I'll check a little later on

I bought mine from eurocarparts basically the rubber inside swells up and stops it sliding across to create enough pressure for them to work properly. there is a guide in the guides section of removing the pump and cutting a piece of the rubber internally to make the pump work well again.

When did it last have a service? My car had a low down hesitation/misfire and then once over the 5k mark a bigger misfire that held it back! Turned out the spark plugs were that old the gaps where huge! Could be worth a look? Just make sure if you do change them to get the NGK plugs as they are...
When you say Meridian leisure park do you mean where vue cinema is? If so the speedbumps there are massive!! Wouldn't fancy it in a lowered car myself! I'd be up for foxton locks!
My car had a problem like this, would be perfectly fine starting up cold, go somewhere like a petrol station and it wouldn't start again! My fault turned out to be the fuel pump relay, when it got hot it wouldn't operate correctly! Changed it and never had the problem again since
