On a side note I had the dent man out today - all out dents.
He did my front wings, doors and rear quarters. The car is now dent free apart from the corner of the boot and bonnet but the intention (if keeping the car) was always to get those painted anyway.
Im enjoying it more than the cup but that's probably because I'm 'doing' (or at least paying!) for stuff to be done on it which tends to keep me interested.
It's pretty torquey - seems a lot more progressive through the revs than the clio as you don't get the 5k kick as such.
Mine has a c2 box with the final drive from a s1 Rallye in so makes it very rev happy in 5th! Good for performance - not so good for economical long runs....
I wouldn't have minded having a look at your cup Phil. That sucks.
