also didnt this car have the rear springs WITHOUT the threaded adjusters?
might be wrong (on the car) but the gaz springs are not the right shape to have sat on the o.e locators....... (dangerous lol)
oh and i ditched my GAZ coilovers after two months ruined the car
this car is p**n mind ;)
nah, i wont be. Ill sort out some decent caf if i do it. It simplifies (sp) the air intake, gets rid of the 90 degree bend, better throttle response yadda yadda yadda ;)
basically have too much time on my hands :)
what do i need?
battery box, smaller battery (red top or the like) various grommets..... what size cable do i need? and hows it connect? Do you bin the earth strap in the engine bay and reconnect in in the boot? (where i want mine)
With the (+) do you just connect them all up together under...
oh yeah!!!
yeah no worries, if i were you i'd just have the 16v badges sprayed silver
keeps the haters happy ;)
its a good job mind, none of this maxpower jap rubbish
i ive seen a road going one with a six speed sequential (sp) box, now that was a fcuking tool i tell you, sounded gorgeous and went like s**t off a shovel
i'd love something like that
172 its not...........
sunroof
1.2 front wings
1.2 alloys
black door handles
its not a bad rep, but why make it look like something its not?
its a wate of money imo, unless you drop a 172 lump in it at a later date
seriously b&q do this style of mesh, its used for plastering...... really cheap, much cheaper than halfords etc, all you then need is some matt black spray paint.
Bet thats how the trophy is done ;)
whats the point?
some 1.2 clios come with electric windows/ sun roof.... then a year down the line it loses the sunroof and gains aircon... but how do you know?
its still the same car model etc, just spec changes. Its like xenons, some clios can have them as an £500 option, some don't. Now...
^ think that was the old one.
its also worth looking at the rear exhaust hanger,(the metal square wth a rubber x shape) they are prone to collapse. A new unit is around £15
