    Tyres 205/45/16

Get some 15 wheels. Much much cheaper tyres, better ride as a bonus.

    Ph1 172 Flamer Track/Road car

Rear coilovers, basically the same setup as danr.

    Tyres 205/45/16

V/W is just the speed rating rusty, not the tyre quality. The 182 was set up using the pe2's. There is a big difference between tyres, go for the one's that people generally get on with (f1's, pe2's etc). Why skimp on tyres, they're the only thing keeping you on the road!

    Tyres 205/45/16

Of the tyres I've had (pe2's, f1 gsd3's, p zero, toyo t1r's), I prefer the f1's. P zero's aren't bad at all, far better than the toyo's (twitchy and poor progression)

    Ph1 172 Flamer Track/Road car

Actually feels quite solid, apart from the brakes. Hit the brakes, wheel goes left, car goes right and the back end goes left! Amazing, the opposite happens when you come off the brakes, think it's set up for oval racing.

    Ph1 172 Flamer Track/Road car

Having an overnight stay at powerstation, just waiting for the rear springs to come from eibach. I've been lent a 191000 miles m reg, faded mondeo estate, epic. Also, Nissan GTR looks fantastic in red, the new impreza doesn't have a good angle, and the litchfield type 25 is flipping awesome!

    7 days today! Yee-hah.

    Failed MOT... FFS

Already done! Suspension being done as we speak. The handbrake won't be an issue, I have a 'sympathetic' mot tester, as long as I tell him a new caliper's going on, he'll pass me.

    Black mountains run video!!

Really good video, might take a detour on my way back from cardiff on sunday, test the new suspension out

    Can this price be right?

The stripes came in various different guises, so not conclusive. Looks to good to be true, probably is, but worth a look. Far too cheap, you'd be surprised to find a 172 on those miles, in that condition at that price. Given the info in the ad, seller doesn't seem like a mug, so I'd bet it's...

    That VXR nutter, he's back.

Oooooohhhh get you! Almost as sad as you sticking up for someone you don't know, on a thread about another thread on a different website. I think you're made of fail.

Was awesome, love the colour. Mine will be that colour within 12 months. Promised my gf that my next car won't be a clio!

    172 Cup or 182 FF?

I love RB! Only good reason to get a 182!

    172 Cup or 182 FF?

You can get mint 172's, sensible mmiles for 4.5k. Look better than 182's as well.

    Which springs?

    From BIG to small....

Will look too small without serious lowering, which you won't get with just springs.

    172 Cup or 182 FF?

Polls are a bit pointless, you'd be mad to part with 6k on other people's opinions. If you want a nicer interior and better handling, get a ph2 172, add coilovers. I went from a 172, to a 182, to a 172, to a Trophy. I regret selling the 1st 172, the price to upgrade is no-where near worth it.

    172 Cup or 182 FF?

    Or a Trophy

    172 Cup or 182 FF?

If you have aircon, it's useful for demisting. Just get a Trophy.
  26. ForceIndia

    172 Cup or 182 FF?

Cup feels lighter, bit more lively. 182 feels more planted. Trophy is a different matter all together!
