V/W is just the speed rating rusty, not the tyre quality. The 182 was set up using the pe2's. There is a big difference between tyres, go for the one's that people generally get on with (f1's, pe2's etc). Why skimp on tyres, they're the only thing keeping you on the road!
Of the tyres I've had (pe2's, f1 gsd3's, p zero, toyo t1r's), I prefer the f1's. P zero's aren't bad at all, far better than the toyo's (twitchy and poor progression)
Actually feels quite solid, apart from the brakes. Hit the brakes, wheel goes left, car goes right and the back end goes left! Amazing, the opposite happens when you come off the brakes, think it's set up for oval racing.
Having an overnight stay at powerstation, just waiting for the rear springs to come from eibach. I've been lent a 191000 miles m reg, faded mondeo estate, epic. Also, Nissan GTR looks fantastic in red, the new impreza doesn't have a good angle, and the litchfield type 25 is flipping awesome!
Already done! Suspension being done as we speak. The handbrake won't be an issue, I have a 'sympathetic' mot tester, as long as I tell him a new caliper's going on, he'll pass me.
The stripes came in various different guises, so not conclusive. Looks to good to be true, probably is, but worth a look. Far too cheap, you'd be surprised to find a 172 on those miles, in that condition at that price. Given the info in the ad, seller doesn't seem like a mug, so I'd bet it's...
Oooooohhhh get you! Almost as sad as you sticking up for someone you don't know, on a thread about another thread on a different website.
I think you're made of fail.
Polls are a bit pointless, you'd be mad to part with 6k on other people's opinions. If you want a nicer interior and better handling, get a ph2 172, add coilovers. I went from a 172, to a 182, to a 172, to a Trophy. I regret selling the 1st 172, the price to upgrade is no-where near worth it.
