How on earth do people valet cars in our weather withough garages
We started talking of making a multi-purpose van project, mainly valeting, and use the space in the van for other use when the valeting is on a low.
Is it possible to attach some sort of extendable canopy on the roof...
Yeah most subs do have a happy medium - bigger ones will produce deeper bass.
I have a 13" with an enclosure I can flip the sub around in :)
When the sub is arse-in the bass will be slightly tighter than arse-out (magnet showing)
A smaller sub is popular for a tighter bass - for dancey music etc.
Bigger subs work very well with R&B
Down to preference & what music you listen to most of the time
It's the soundstage that is disturbed mate, no matter how good the quality is in the back there is just too much of it with 6x9s fitted.
Sorry to sour-down your apples but I've never had 6x9s in my car thanks all the same
But I have listened to them in various cars before I get the "how do...
Basicly they add "too much to the rear" for an ideal SQ setup
Also the fact that they are soooo 1990's - their time was up LONG before clear lexus lights became ugly!
Yes their top-end stuff is more expensive, and might appear to be "awesome stuff" but that doesn't make their build quality & reputation stand out like other popular brands.
There's more money put into how their equipment looks rather than the SQ - it is a "look at mine" brand along with so...
Yeah it is comps in the front & coaxils in the rear - my advice is keep it that way.
Get yourself a good set of comps and leave the std rears in for now - will sound awesome :)
Get a set of chaep alpine ones - much better than Sony and the likes.
Otherwise try a local breakers for std speakers - they are around 25w-35w I think
I polished with SSR then put on SRP & EGP (Dr Rich's orders ;) )
That was 4 weeks ago;
I only got the chance to put one coat of EGP on, will I have to re-apply SRP before I use the EGP again?
hope you put all those cloths in the wash after having them lying around the field :clown:
Looks well - the dci 80 is great in 1st-4th gears I rekon :)
My tunning box is back on too - just gives a bit more torque
