Anything heavy in the boot (such as a sub/box) has been known to end-up flying into the front in an accdident. The impact forces the back seat forward and your sub is airborne!
May not happen in all cases, but would YOU want the risk?
6x9s - enough said I'm afraid
There should be room for a basic set of speakers if you are going to mount them on your rear doorcards.
Try taking one off and check behind where you want to mount the speaker.
You'll probably blow it being standard Renault equipment lol
It would be a wiser option to upgrade the HU then look into buying an amp if you want to enhance your setup further :)
Mine is wired up with a Streetwires wiring kit (including distribution block) and also has a split-charge from the alternator :)
If you're unsure go to a local ICE dealers - NOT Halfords! :nono:
I used the Sonus Grey on a very neglected car last week - the body was like sandpaper - all nice and silky now :)
I would tend to use the Sonus Green clay for most other tasks - great stuff
There's no real need to get rid of your sub just because it rattles the car lol
Get some sound deadening on the panels and the rattles won't be half as bad :)
Yup, as above - set yourself a budget and work from there.
If it's a realy decent system you want, flog the Sony! ;)
The rest depends mostly on how much you want to spend
What colour is your car?
Here's mine recently after Poorboys SSR 2.5 on a Sonus SFX-2 pad;
The Sonus DAS-Green pad in the pic above was in preparation to apply AG SRP :)
