What year/model is your Clio? When I enquired why I had no light in my glovebox when I bought the car - a few people at Reno told me "some models have removed the feature as it was causing problems with the battery" :S

I had a removable 11" Focal Pollyglass sub in the boot before my current system It was very impressive and not too sore on the wallet :)

My dci did this last winter - battery replaced under warranty (still happens occasionaly :S) Are you doing short distances in the car? Batteries don't get much chance to "charge-up" when running around town and making lots of stops & starts. Also using your electrics more in the colder...

Go for something mad, then retrim the door to cover up those nasty plastic doorcards ;)

Yeah I thought that too - you can spend too much trying to improve "little faults" Surely a FF 172 would have better build quality without tampering with the Dynamique?

That is something I would agree with, in not-so-many words lol Everyone will make a few "blunders" when modifying their car, we learn from them. Down the line we'll have better cars and sit thinking - "what in the name of all that is holy did I do that for?" Give the lad a chance :)

Your're making me want the 172 conversion lol Mainly because I prefer my own exterior to a standard 172 :o But I dont think I'd want to keep my sunroof :dead: as the 172 is "better built"

Not sure what make my gearknob is but it keeps coming loose every now & then, just need to tighten it with the wee key. Could'nt have my knob falling off as I'm accelerating! :nono:
