cheers peeps, its on gaz coilvers, but changing to h&rs soon, as the rears make too much racket whilst driving. The rears are set up the same each side, 1 and a half turns up from the bottom, the pic of the rear is not the most flattering, but i think it has more to do with the lack of...
here are some pics as it looks at the mo :)
any comments welcome

looks ok, but imo i think 17s look too big, prefer the 16" to be honest, also itll harm the acceleration slightly. I dont really understand people who want to make thieir car slower??
thats because if you look at any mark 2 172s, their bumper taper in more at the bottom, (compered to the one above mark 1)
i had to trim 10mm off the flange that fits into the pipe after the cat, before hand it was being a nightmere, kept catching on the axel/bumper etc. now it fits snug :D...
off me phone, they look mint if fitted snug under the bumper (abit of a chore, but be patient) on a slammed motor, trust me, as i thought it looked too big aswell

hmmmm just looked at the version 2, i was only thinking about paying 700 max.... so they are out of the question, so its either the h&R or the kw version 1s now, but these arent damping adjustable. Saying that i *doubt* itll ever be tracked, but you know what the roads are like round here, so i...
currently looking at two set ups.... either the H&R or the KW varaint 2 version (adjustable height + damping) What are peoples opinions of either of these kits? There seem to be more people running the H&R set up, any reason for this?
How much have people payed and where sourced from...
i beleive you have a de cat?, does the cat on these have a lambda sensor? i *think* it does (mine still has the cat fitted) maybe this is at fault, damaged become unplugged etc? My car is slightly lumpy and a wee bit hesitant when cold, but this clears after approx 1 mile
yeah f**k it off and get this one (twin round magnex) looks sooo much better, ;)
soz about the quality, off me phone

but it doesnt though, it makes it easier to to steer IF you lock up. If you dont lock the wheels there is no difference in stopping differences.
so what i said isnt bollox, its factually correct. People have this clouded vision that abs is a majical thing that majorly reduces braking...
taken from a site about abs systems......
Purpose: ABS was designed to help you maintain DIRECTIONAL control during emergency stops and when road conditions are poor. By maintaining control, you have better chances of avoiding a crash. ABS is especially useful on wet and slippery roads...
there is f**k all difference if you dont lock the brakes, ie skilled driver, the difference is the control if you do lock, you cant steer if it does lock up, where as you can with abs......
i went from a punto gt which has abs, to my cup. One thing people dont realise is that abs doesnt really shorten the braking distance, it just makes steering easier to control in a skid, as it cant lock up. IMO the cup brakes are awsome, lots of grip touch wood not locked up since purchase...
so instead of grounding all the (-) in the engine bay, and then grounding the (-) terminal of the battery in the boot, you recommend just runnig two wires down the car to the boot??
cheers
yeah as i said before i cant praise k-tec enough, soon as i rung then up, they sent out two replacements, as i wanted a new pair of rears, paid postage both ways. K-tec are fine, just the gaz units are suspect in my experiance, so gettin rid
