as im not gay ive ordered myself a de cat for me cup (janspeed) now ive heard about problems with the lambda sensors etc bringing on the emmissions light, Some people say leave them both plugged in, some say leave the second one out, or unplug it :confused:

im toying round with the idea at the mo, got a decat comming this week, currently got a k&n in the originl box
did it about two weeks ago, the worst thing about the job is the oil filter.....ive got a cup without air con and more room apparently.... what a ball ache to get the filter off, youll have the aircon stuff in the way so expect cut arms and hands and alot of swearing!!!

i only had one with me car, then i lost one (dont ask how :oops:) then had to do the same as above really, but ive marked to of my sexy fred spec wheels and curbed one (week from hell)

yeah loved that car, and your right slammed on them rims looked pimp. very underated, i reckon straight line it was quicker than me cup, as i raced a CTR in it and pulled past it.....same CTR in me cup was nip and tuck, f**k all in it
still love em, but they all now seem to be chavved up with...
not a clio but this was a snorting popping 170bhp turbod bad boy, oh how i do miss it sometimes :(

if you over fill an engine and run it, it can push out seals etc due to too much pressure etc that oil still has to go somewhere!.... maybe done some damage?
im now running this set up ferodos with standard new discs, did them at the weekend and they are mint, get them warm-ish and their bite is amazing!!! two things...
1. these pads were too big to fit in the caliper housing, you will need to grind abit off if they wont fit in, just alittle off...
so how do you know the spring rate then? i used to have a gaz kit on me 172 cup, now have h&r, what rates are these front and rear, be very interesting to know.......
only off the sleeve yeah, unbolt the exhaust from the cat, take off the exhaust clamp, then hit the sleeve out of the mid box opening (not nice under a car) then chop off 10mm OF THE END THAT PUSHES INTO THE MIDDLE BOX............NOT THE END THAT JOINS INTO THE CAT!!!
