Lots of people have bought "just springs" have ended up going and buying the full kit for better balance between comfort and handling. Probably 2 reasons for this in my theory 1 Renault std dampers don't like lowering springs - they have been known to have a short life when the car is lowered...

I have "blobs" of paint left over from the touch-up pen when I was covering a few scratches. Been told Wet & Dry 2000 paper and some water will sort it out, and then polish it :)

What about dampers for the dci80 ? Which ones fit? or preferably which full lowering kit? I've been told it's a good investment to get matching shocks/springs when lowering :)

Welcome to CS! It won't be to many people's taste Joe... esp on here - most of the ClioSporter's are hungry for performance mods instead of the "in-your-face" stuff. You might even adapt to some opinions on here and change a few things around on your own car over time. I'm glad you like it...

I get a knocking or "rumbling" noise sometimes when the car is turning (full lock on to the right) - seems like the passenger front wheel or coming from that direction. Not sure what it is... ....the car is "floating" on 17s but its not lowered - yet

Where would I get that from ? Can I still keep the engine cover on ?

I agree, it looks good - but you car is perfectly colour-coded as it is - looks sweet :)

I'm intending on putting much time/effort/money into engine mods on the dci - it's used as an everyday car and the mpg is great :) Plus - I'll get a 172 or a Celica when I get myself settled into a house of my own ;) I'd be more than happy if the Dragon T-box and a filter or induction kit...

How about an intercooler and the Dragon T-box on the dci-80 ? How much would we be looking at for an intercooler ?
