Induction Kit Q's

  "Navy" N17 TWO
Thinking of getting a K&N 57i Induction Kit for my car;

What difference will this make to the car?
Apparently it sounds great- but thats all I've heard about it

What difference will the induction kit make, compared with a normal K&N panel filter?

Can the "rocker cover" be left on when the kit is fitted? - in all honesty the dci engine isn't one of the prettiest engines running about

rocker cover? you mean engine cover? (theres a difference, rocker cover is a requirement, engine cover is cosmetic)

on the dci, open induction kits are ok so i'm led to believe. It'll give you a bit of noise, but not sure about power increase! (not really that clued up on diesels)

A 57i induction kit is likely to lose you power rather then gain it for you.
If you can afford it get yourself a closed kit that wont be sucking in hot air from your engine bay

Just don't buy the KTR Ramcharger induction kit. I have it and it's lame TBH.

K&N is a better bet. I should of gone for one of those.

I think your car is a 80bhp version of the F9Q engine? (1.5dci)

Van Aaken Tuning do a kit for your car iirc, including some tasty ecu reflashes and exhausts.

Speak to edde too, he runs a dci.
