the carbonut one would be great on a 172/182 - not an every-day car where you could be stuck in the arse of no-where in bad weather - ivve been there :( - a std bonnet kept the snow off my head at the time :D
not be so practical if i was in the middle of the mountains at night and broke down :oops:

recently changed my gearstick gaitor/knob - all was well until;
i get a squeek out of my gearstick "ONLY when I change into 3rd gear":confused:
its the same noise you would hear if you walked into a shop on a rainy day with a pair of trainers - squeek squeek :cry:

Thats mine - old one had to be sawn off - bit of a handling too - worth it though
what materials/tools would you need to bolt it to the side of the boot, i.e. over the right wheel-arch ?
how can you wire in neons into your boot?

not sure what to do now - if they are linked to the int. light will they come on when the doors open, like if i am cleaning the car?
would be great if they were linked up like that, but would need the kill-switch to save the battery
would the int light fade operation affect the neons?
