Is a limited run done by thorney and vauxhall and came with the vxr rear. It also had a union jack on the roof and massive vxr decals on the side but these have since been removed.

It doesn't stand up to close inspection but it is certainly an improvement.

I just think he is gonna lose a lot of money on it - he paid 20k for the car!

Thanks for the comments. It is a hoot to drive but I couldn't handle it as a daily driver, that's for sure!

Had the same experience in my old 182. I was all about looks and ruined the car with coilovers and pro race 1.2s. When I returned it to standard it was better to drive in every department.

Not that I'm aware mate. If you got a standard 5dr astra cdti 150 and fitted a 200 tuning box you could probably get around 180 - 200 bhp.

Seems to handle alright tbh. I didn't push it to the max but gave it some beans on a few corners.

Genuine 50+ mpg.

Its a 1.9cdti tuned by Thorney in association with Vauxhall so keeps the warranty (lifetime or 100k) and all that shizzle.
