Re: Krispy Kremes 17th July
Yeah, I went the other week to nandos and there were loads of chavs in the corner of the car park with loud exhausts............
I hope that Renault don't lose sight of what makes clios stand out from most other hot hatches and that's the handling and the way it drives.
Manufacturers all seem to be obsessed with bhp but not how a car feels to drive.
I'm sure if the Clio goes down the boost route there will be a few more 'ive blown my Clio up' threads.
If you go on vxr online there are loads of failures due to people going too far with da boost.
Tbh, I think 200bhp is enough in a fwd hot hatch.
Tbh I don't think there has been that much defensivness in this thread by the 200 owners, just people trying to wind them up at the earliest possible opportunity.
Can't see an na car blowing up from a bit of mapping tbh.
Good luck with it mate.
If you get chance, get a before run done at rs tuning and then an after run or the haters won't be happy with the results.
Same old comments about Changing cars etc
He wants to modify his Clio - that's why he started the thread.
If you can afford it mate I'd go for it. Not many high bhp 197/200s out there so would definitely stand out from the crowd.
I had a custom exhaust on my 182 and changed it to standard when I moved house as I was concerned about how loud it was.
Nobody said anything to me to make me do it, I just thought it was polite and the right thing to do.
But, hey, that's just me, I'd go with the cs advice and tell him to f**k...
