They do need to stop getting RB.;) I did have a RB 197 so that qualifies me for this.:)
It's getting better reception on here than I expected. Not many need speedline comment yet. lol I prefer the standard wheels.
Santa just dropped this off on his sleigh.:rasp:
Thank you for Andy@Wests for the service and great price.
I'm glad I went for the yellow i.d. pack. I love the seatbelts.
I know it's dirty but I asked them not to clean it in preparation for the detailer.
If anyone is looking for...
I had xenons on the 197 and I was very disappointed with them. It seemed the projecter wasn't that good and thus had awful cutoff. It was still much better than reflector halogen.
I haven't tried them yet but from I have heard they are very good. 5000k is the most you want for the best light.
Give me a month and I should have them in the 200.
I need to take the headlight apart to see what projector I can mount in there. The shutter solenoid will be activated by the current main beam wiring. The halogen main beam will still be there for flashing when dipped beam isn't on. This also overcomes the warm up period needed by the xenon...
Anyone done this on a clio? Especially a 197 or 200 fitted with projectors already.
Would be great if anyone can give some pointers before I take my headlight apart.
As upgraded stereo comes with BT it is a must for me. RS monitor for an extra £120 was an easy decision.
I had a 197 without Recaros and always wanted them. The standard seats were good but if you have a small ass the recaros hold you in so much better. They also look much better.
I have a similar one coming except mine is FF. I also like the standard wheels better.
I was hoping RB would be a rare colour but not looking likely. lol
Definately 4 tyres. Everyone is amazed at what mine can do on winter tyres. I definately need them as I live in the forest with steep inclines everywhere.
You should also bear in mind they provide much more grip in the wet when cold then your usual summer tyres.
Just found out today mine has gone into build. Wonder if I should wait for jan delivery though?
Also wests did a great deal on mine. No idea how they did it though.
Timmyevo6: I'm not quite ready to buy one yet as I haven't finalised the budget and I have no need for it yet. Looking more at jan/feb time then can use it straight away.
I may join rodders for a few races but it's run by a Ma5da team so main races with them.
Anyone know of Clio Cup for sale?
All of them seems to be on the continent, and with the current exchange rate it equates to just over £11k for a MkII. Willing to strech to £17k for a MkIII but would prefer one with little running time or fresh rebuild.
