Now finished.
ISO 800, speed 1/4 and Aperture F8.0
I'm trying to see whether I have installed the height motors correctly as they seem to be pointing quite low.
Me and Pedro both run Osram CBI bulbs. My projectors have clear lens and the bulbs are pure white in colour. Pedro has them in the standard projector so he can say whether they are good or not in the 182 Xenons.

Headlight pic.
I'm fittng the other side today so should have some cut off pics by tonight. There is a slight colourband from when I fired it up in the living room.:)
It's really quite hard to capture the difference in the pictures. The intensity is better on the dipped beam but main beam is so much better. You also have to bear in mind it is only fitted on the NS right now.
I have to have something to play with. lol
Just remember there is a bumper support bracket (I think?) that's riveted onto the headlight itself. You need to drill it out and replace onto the new one.
Do you mean warm up time for the dipped beam or main beam? If you are on about main beam then the halogen main beam still remains.
The only difference now is the main beam is xenon aswell as halogen.
I got it from the link Brown Bear posted. £130 each was the best I found. 5k provides the...
On the test run it was proving much better. Can't wait to have both in.
It looks the same as the normal 200 projector headlight. Is that what you were asking?
Projector in question.
Only done one side but the other will follow next week. The settings on the camera are wrong but you get the general idea with the light spread etc.

Using Morimoto Mini DS2 projector with Osram CBI bulbs.
Thanks. The hard bit is still to come.
I'm trying to achieve the OEM look so you won't be able to tell any differently when the lights are off. The shield is also getting painted so the projector lens will look coloured when the lights are off.
Also thanks to Tom @ Wests Renault for the headlight and all his troubles.
I might put the FX-R in a removable lamp pod on the front bumper and use to as driving lamps. I'll only put them on for night navigation rallies though.;)
I hope your bulbs gets sorted soon pedro.
Yep. Dipped and main beam xenon with a shutter that moves up and down. Halogen high beam remains for flashing when lights are off.
I decided to use a projector headlight unit as I have dedicated conering lights. If I used the standard ones then the FXR should have fit no problem.
Few pics for now. I'll write it up if I get it finished.
Had to use a dremel to cut the lens as the lens started to melt before the glue. lol
Was going to be fitted with these but they are too big so got some smaller projectors coming.
Going to be fitted with Osram CBI bulbs. I'll make...
I would go for bubs from hids4u. You can never know the quality of the ebay bulbs.
Go for this though as they are one of the best you can buy:

Just got mine and in the end it worked out at £89 (with discount code) with £9...

I couldn't find any threads on this so here it is. Thought I'd post it since it's a great watch.
A vid of them have appeared on HIDP.

Just ordered a set for the 200 along with the FX bi xenon projector. Can't wait to get them fitted.
It's only taken me a email to the head office for my are rep contact info. Have you not got one near you at all?
Make sure you haggle with your rep. Some products can be much cheaper.
Looking forward to them. I keep hovering over the order button but it's bumping up my project cost by alot. I know everyone says they are good but 2 times the price good?
Pedro ordered 5000k 3400lumens CBI. Not 3400k. As said on HIDplanet the 5000k would be the whitest and provide the most useable light. I really want them but its twice the price of the phillips.
I haven't seen a Mk2 projector but maybe a lens swap could give more light? However, you'd have to...
I got RB because for the same reason as tom. Bonus that it was free.
I just need that headlight now so I can see at night.;) Was someone in a hurry to get home when they packed the headlight?lol
