Now getting ready for the arrivial of the new car I thought I'll seek advice on new cleaning products. Everything will be done by hand on a racing blue clio. Is there any precautions I should be aware of on new car paint as well?

I asked the Renault guy standing near the 197 at the motorshow and he said to me that they are available to order now.

I think I will be waiting for the 56 plate. I just wasn't sure about letting it sit at the IC for 3 weeks. I'll listen to you all leave it standard for now anyway. There was a post on renaultsport.co.uk by yozzasport requiring a new 197 to do the exhaust so it shouldn't be too long I hope.

Just found out today that my new 197 is nearly here in the UK.:D Just thinking whether to wait for a 56 plate or not. Anyways what mods do you think should be done? I am thinking an IK and maybe we'll see on a yozzasport exhaust. Anything else?

^^ Looks very nice. However according to the renaultsport experts only 4 racing blue 197 have been ordered so far.

Go for a dci 80 Dynamique. Reasonable performance and cheap tax and high MPG. On the Megane I have the ins grp is only 4 so not too bad.

The 197 does look nice in red. Does anyone know does the 197 windows auto close when you deadlock the car?

My dealer has their at £15995 with 21miles on the clock. Most of that was done by me.

I'm not getting mine until sep. I wanted to drive the 197 before I ordered so thats why its this late.

I got 10% off my 197 but its would be an undriven ex-demonstrator. I did push him to 13% but I let him earn that little bit.

I love the racing blue. But then I'm bound to. The first mod on mine is definately anthracite wheels.

Ordered mine in racing blue the other week. After seeing it in the flesh and test driving it it had to be done.:D

I'm pretty sure the 0% doesn't inlcued the 197 at the moment but I'm sure it will in a couple of months.

My dealers deep black 197.

I was in a black 197 today but not in stockport. I was gunning it though, 12MPG on a 10 mile drive.

Maybe also a PC polish?
