Now getting ready for the arrivial of the new car I thought I'll seek advice on new cleaning products. Everything will be done by hand on a racing blue clio. Is there any precautions I should be aware of on new car paint as well?

New factory paint is fine to do what you want with as it is properly baked ready to polish and seal.

Wax

For me on racing blue

Wash - Whatever you like
Clay - Megs Quick Clay
Polish - Autoglym Super Resin
Seal - Autoglym Extra Gloss protection
Wax - P21s wax

Delivered on uncovered lorries, sat around outside the factory and at the docks/import centre. You will be suprised what contaminents are already on the car by the time it gets to its first owner.
