thanks danny - only got a strut brace, polished engine mount, and my original plenham which has now been matched and polished to go on and a few more of the blue over pipes and its finished oh and Mark is doing my engine cover the same as yours danny with the section in andromeda - he did my 2.0...
I had spax on the rear of a 205 1.9 gti and on my 172 before having H&R coilovers and I thought they were great - my 205 was the best handling car I have had and the clio was far less twitchy at the rear than with standard shocks - well worth the money although I had the Spax RSX on the clio...
that is wicked - nice 1 stoddie - really tasteful mods and after a load of hassle Im really glad you got it all sorted and it ended up being so good. real all rounder - looks good, is quick, engine bay sorted, handles well, probably sounds goog etc etc - top job!
agreed - looks wicked - got to get rid of the pistonheads stickers though - the GDi looks pretty good i think.
Im quite jealous - really wanted superlegs but ended up with F1's - good choice
thanks mark looke pretty good
the k-tec one is a bit ott so its hard to tell what mine would look like.
someone must have one although I cant remember seeing one on here - perhaps that is more of a reason to get one!
If anyone has a silver phase 2 172 with a carbon fibre bonnet could you possibly post pics of it please - Thanks in advance - tryin to decided if I should do it or not
what suspension do you have?
if you can manage the drive to cardiff prospeed would sort you out with a nice exhaust properly cut into the bumper so it looks like it is meant to be there
Rich you are nuts - you must spend half your life polishing bits of your engine plus your car must be off the road half its life while you polish bits! lol
Fair play though looks wicked - perhaps one day you will reveal your secret to us
fair play - you have done loads to that - really like it - think it would look better without the light brows but other than that oh and the fact that I guess speed bumps are not a possibilty with the exhaust you have I think it looks good
yeah as long as there definately isnt anut in the other hole then it just pulls off - no clips etc at all.
again due to length of time its been on there it might be a little stiff - if you take the rubber strip off the front slam panel (the 2 circles you have drawn above are touching the rubber...
you will get those wheels much cheaper than that if you shop about - try ebay for starters - if you get 17's go for an ET42 offset and a 205/40 tyre. loads will tell you to get an et37 but if you lower the car much they willrub the rear arches - get an et42 and you will have no problems - I...
as long as a car has been modded well it should sell for the same if not a little more than a standard car in my experience and judging by that photo of yours it looks pretty well to me!
cheesy stickers and dodgy mods like cheap suspension or cheap exhausts etc wont do a seller any favours but...
hiya ads - definately 2 on my car - have taken it off loads of times. You need a 10mm socket and the nuts are quite far into the holes so an extension on the socket is required. If there isnt one in the left hole dont worry, every time a service is done they have to remove the guard so may...
cant be done as far as I know - Alpine said there was no way of doing it - I rung them loads of times when I first had the interface as I was stunned that the films would not work and wanted to know if anything could be done - all they could suggest was what I have explained above - no chance...
