what shocks have you put on it - sits really nicely now.
very nice car - girl in work has one the same colour but it dont look like yours!
really impressed
There are a couple of rs front grilles on ebay at the moment if you are after one - not going too expensive either at the moment.
you...
I will try and find my claim to fame tonight - was 10 years ago now but made the front page of the local newspaper - slight mishap at about 85mph any way will scan the picture and post later - the only thing that was not burnt out was half a wheel trim! that was a 1.3 sr as well - Headlines were...
yeah went on thursday - got £200 for them. they were mint but the PCD was a bit funny. When I bought them I got them off a club member but 2 of them were buckled. Anyway Mille Miglia did not have any or were not making any in the near future so eventually managed to track down 2 wheels that...
I did not see any significant difference when changing from 16's to 17's - I know everyone goes on about tramlining etc but it tramlined on 16's its just a bit amplified at times now but still quite manageable. Plus with the added appearance of the car with 17's it was well worth it in my eyes...
I dont thik the strips at the sides of the Rentech sticker were meant to go on - looks better without imo.
love your car - its wicked low - must be a nightmare with speedbumps
sounds like my story - had a Renault 5 turbo that cost a fortune to maintain - now have a reliable but still fast car.
Was a Nice 16v though - bloody low - bet they loved you when you wanted the tracking set up!!
From These -
To these -
Got them in an ET42 offset so no rubbing any more - really pleased with them
Look a bit less boy racer stylee I think - gettin on now so its a good look!
I know what you mean about messing up the handling - I was a bit worried - but again so far so good - the handling if anything feels a lot better! my front tyres were pretty worn on the inside due to being badly tracked after having coilovers fitted also the rear of my car was a little bit...
went for ET42 with 205/40 tyres. Wheels were 7x17.
Put them on yesterday and so far so good - seemed plenty of room at the back - may put some spacers on the front as the wheels seem a little too far into the wheel arch but other than that no problems so far
have you thought about getting some spacers for your wheels - if you get 3mm spacers it would push the wheels out and may stop the rubbing (if 3mm is far enough)
the front will be fine but not sure about the back - if you pull the corner of the rear bumper down and put your hand inside you will feel a piece of metal that sticks out quite a lot - if you remove that both sides its a lot better but from that photo I would say you could probably go down 5mm...
