No, took about 10 mins, live from sidelights, earthed on battery. They are a perfect fit for the air vent thingys on the front bumper.
Weather was interesting, fog rain then sun?!
Centre caps, hmmmm well i sprayed them to match wheels when i thought they were gonna be anthracite, but they...
Yea, dunno how long they'll last. They're not foglights, more 'driving lights' as they come on instead of my sidelights and are white LEDs. Look ok sometimes, not at other times lol
Woah that was freaky. My black 172 was written off last may, FP51CEF was the reg. That was on 102k i think in the end. I bought it on 96k in October 2006, same details as yours and pretty mint. Paid £3200 for it insurance paid me £3600 for it total loss last may, so thats a guideline.
Better investment than a house at the moment?
£700 an hour to rent it, good earnings!

Got up this morning to go to the South Yorkshire meet, but i was late :(
Anyhu, made use of a bad situation and took the scenic route home, via the Snakepass
Amazing views and roads, weren't busy at all, i assume because of the rain. Yesterday morning i overhauled my suspension, fitting new...
Seen it on here, think the reg was W**WOO? Ach i cant remember, PH1 172 with dark Turinis and yellow brakes anyhu!
Oh, and for the record, Sunwin Renault parts dept are ruuuuuuuubbish!!!!
Had mine on for about 8 months now, been pulled once. They werent arsey just told me the rules, illegal spacing and the F - You're only allowed GB or something?
i know its no use but i cant for the life of me remember where i got them!! Something like French plates on the net, just searched on google to be honest
To hold them on the car i gto some number plate holders off eBay, theres a guy sells them on there, he takes them off Irish cars that are...
Swap everything you can back off it, when my 172 got crashed into it was the last time i saw it as the insurance lost the car - no joke! It turned up in a salvage yard in Blackburn, i had to ring them and get them to get out my belongings, but it still had its 182 wheels on, ITG, KTec Stealth etc
Mines on Sportlines, looks a little lower i suppose!
Got me some Koni adjustables brand new off here for £320 delivered, havent fitted them yet tho. The photoshop height is coillies as said
Dont really know where to put this, but here goes
Does anyone know of anywhere that supplies new replacement parts for the RS 172?!
Ive been ringing round all the local motorfactors today for some track arms, and it seems just like the shockers, suspension mounts, engine mounts blah blah that...
Put it this way, in October 2006 i bought my old PH2 51 plate 172 with KTec Stealth, history etc from a Cliosport member. It was a 51 plate with 95k on it, pretty mint condition, and i paid £3250. That was 18 months ago, so that one is waaaay overpriced!!
Re: The story of a high mileage 172
Ive spent £800 on mine this month, its on 76k
I had the track arm problem this weekend, took old one off only to reaslise they'd sent me wrong one. Was informed they're Renault only for the 172 - is this true?
Main engine mounts totally sheered off! Also, the rubber at the bottom has perished and its leaked its oil out :dapprove:
Unfortunately i didnt catch it in time, and its consequentially done this to my cat...
As title, its blowing at the manifold join! Its one of the most fiddley exhausts ive fitted, i cant seem to get it to seal! Its a KTec one too so should be good fit id of thought?
Anyone else had this problem?
Performance Blue is far too common in my opinion, my mate has an Electric Orange one but id still go for white!
Is not under the handbrake, its the optional phone cradle for Bluetooth, moulded into the storage tray thing
