Full main dealer service history is b****cks in my eyes, this coming from a techy in a main dealer. People bring their cars in for the basic service, but dont have any extra work done like brakes, tyres, shockers etc as its too expensive so they let them deteriorate until they absolutely have to...
Nope, just fixed it themselves, i know the guy. I assumed airbag is the wires under the seat, as my old 172 used to do it? Got a mate that works at Renault anyway ;)
Service history, i doubt it! Its not a Dynamique, no fogs or anything, i think its an Expression?
Just on a whim i offered them...
Had a Clio in at work, for knocking on full lock. Had a look at it and it wants the following work
N/S track arm
O/S and N/S ball joints
N/S and O/S shocker tops
Anti roll bar links dont look too healthy
Front discs and pads are metal to metal
Radiators come out of its brackets but isnt...
Basically due to Britains lovely roads my car needs the following:
O/S and N/S Front Shock Absorbers
O/S and N/S Rear Shock Absorbers
O/S and N/S Front Shock Abs Tops
O/S and N/S Track Arms
Yes, the only thing it doesnt need is springs - and thats only because they're 6 month old Eibachs...

I went here, mates have, and ill be going again this week with my Turinis! £1 an inch, over 300 colours available. Basically all you have to do is remove tyre and they do the rest, dont even bother to clean them
Couple of pictures of my...
Got me some Turinis, as mentioned in other thread. Thing i dont like about my 172 is the front wheels sit abit far in? Im thinking my Turinis are gonna sit them same, so would a set of spacers be a wise choice? Could i just fit them on the front, id only want them bringing out a very tiny bit...
When ive done any painting of badges on my cars ive just given them a quick sand with wet and dry then plastic primer, 3 or so coats of that, then the colour, 3 or 4 coats, then laquer, or not if you want them matt. Other people sand in between stages, but mine have always come up perfect
I live just off J22 on the M62, on the moors. My dad hit a sheep in his company Mondeo, wrote it off! Suspension and bodywork damage all down o/s! I always flash my headlights at oncoming cars when theres sheep in the road, never hit one but had a very near miss, ABS was in full swing. I stopped...
Ive bought some Turinis today, so these are going up for sale but i dont know how much to ask.
One has a mark on it, the N/S/Fs absolutely buckled so im gonna get my spare powdercoated and sell that with the other 3 to make a pretty mint set. Rear tyres are PE2s with about 3mm, fronts are...
