I got it second hand sadly. I've just rung a place in northampton (pirtek) and they said they wouldnt know until they stripped it down.
I think your right though, it's probably a seal. It's definitely got the right amount of oil in it. It's seen a a fair amount of use just with me. I should...
I'm having real trouble with my engine crane.
it's one of these:
basically it works fine without a load on it. But with an engine on it, it will lift about 4 inches off the floor then gradually stop pumping. It's as if it's not drawing in any oil to pump through. It also builds quite a bit of...
Not worth it.
iirc the Nissan Pulsar is ITB'd and turbo'd from the factory. But it will just turn into a massive massive waste of money on any clio. I have no idea why nissan would choose to do it from the factory. If you increase volumetric efficiency using a turbo, why go and use ITBs too...
here
or maybe try a forum like saxperience or something.
apart from that you'll find it hard.
What was that you were saying the other day about name servers btw, my website is still f.ucked
Don't be a tight arse with lambda sensors. If you get a good fresh one in there, the cost of it is soon repayed in the fuel it saves you.
Buy NGK if you can (if it's available) if not go for a bosch. Make sure it's the correct sensor for your car.
what's jordy run in his rocco? is it a bored 20v? has he gone for a stroker crank? Considering going for an 83mm overbore on mine, but can't afford the pistons atm.
Re: PH1 172 Track Car, abit special *ITB update*
looks like a bit of a dynamic chamber issue! I noticed someone in your other thread suggested checking wishbone bushes. Powerflex bushes there would be a great place to start if not already done so.
Also, if it's a bit understeery, why not...
Arent there generic OBDII readers that will give this sort of information on a display similar to these that you've seen?
I think there might be. Get googlin.
Edit: ^^ Same basic Block though? ^^
The reason they did it is because an inline would have been too long for a transverse mount and a proper 90 degree V would be more expensive (requires 2 heads). VR6 engines are quite clever in that respect, but I wouldnt call it a good engine. They tend not...
definitely a VR6
The V angle is about 15 degrees or less iirc. They are barely a V. They would be straight but the slight V means that the engine doesent need to be quite so long.
Not really a V-engine as they have a single bank of cylinders.
checked power steering fluid?
If it's got no belt history, then no-one will buy it, and you probably shouldn't drive it so I'd get the belts done sharpish.
If you can get them done at a specialist (birchdown/GDi/Ktec) they may also be able to tell you what's wrong with the rest of this car. It's...
