itg sent me a copy of the r.r results of a 172 with a maxogen fitted but i think i binned it, anyway i think it showed 6 or 7 brake increase not at peak revs but 4500rpm ish. i will be tempted when they eventually sort out the production of it.

has anyone bought the extra low -40mm springs for the 172 from bb tuning? they claim to actually lower it -40mm unlike most of the other springs for the cup and 172 which claim -30mm but more like -10mm
telford mike, how much did the eibach springs lower your car? i know ktec website says -35mm but when i phoned them to order them they said that they dont lower it that much, more like 15mm, so i bought chassis dynamics springs from them instead which have lowered the car but not by 35mm, more...
silenced or not does not affect performance, ask magnex, the one i had on my valver was silenced (magnex) we dont all want the loudest exhaust system possible dogmaul:devilish:
how much did the de cat cost? whats the story with the two lamba sensors fitted to the standard cat, do they fit into the janspeed one? i really want to get one of these to compliment the cat back magnex so let me know how u get on with it and if u notice any difference in power
ive read a few reports on the new clio 182 and they say the difference from the 172 is manifold, modified cat, different injectors, modified crank? is this right and if so can you buy the parts and fit them to a cup/172?? how much and who supplies them? hill power?
ive just got a magnex twin 3.5" system on my cup and the fit is perfect, doesnt hang low, looks superb and sounds really nice, not stupid loud like some max power corsa. the build quality is spot on and imo looks so much nicer than the ktech twin 3"
i think the reason that picture of the magnex appears to be hanging a bit low is because the system was designed to fit up to 2002 models since then magnex has modified the fitting kit to fit newer models, i know this cause i spoke to magnex direct and they had a 2003 sport in to adjust the fitting.
got it for £260, garage near me were doing a deal 20% off until xmas so i ordered it on 22nd december, should sound really nice when u put the foot down and nice and subtle when taking it easy, just like the magnex i had on my old valver was, but i will let u know mate.
ive got chassis dynamics springs -35mm on my cup, bought from k tech. now sits much nicer, looks better, handles better, also feel the bumps more, but worth it
just do it, i lowered my cup 35mm not long after buying it brand new cause its sat too high, looks much better now, who cares about warranty, full magnex goes on this thursday!!
