autocar way back in about 1992 ran a 16v in 7.2 secs, a few on here have also done low 7s with standard 16vs.

what shde of blue is odyssey? if its dark, white turinis (cup alloys) would look mint. if its a light shade, anthracite colour cup alloys.

elf trx, it think its called mate (it says in the handbook i think) make sure you dont buy the one with trz, as its wrong,from memory its fully synthetic. (the dopes in the 1st dealer i went to sold me the fully synt, but its the wrong one !)

renault ought to sell it mate, they sell all elf lubricants. (i got my gearbox oil from a renault dealer)

i can never get the mag anywhere ! not even in smiths, sometimes the newsagents @ work has it. on the occassions i do get to read it, its all peugeot ! (except for the clio/saxo/pug thrash a while ago)

either the standard one mate, or a williams one (a willy one is colour coded & slightly bigger than the 16v one) by e tech, i guess you mean one of those airplane wings? if so, please dont put one on.

either use renault elf stuff, or a decent 10w 40, dont use magnatec as the old valvers dont seem to like it !! (well mine didnt !!)

ionly have 1 key, i was quoted 120.00 from renault for a spare key (mine has the light on it and dimples where you press to operate the central locking) thats on a 1994 m plate valver. to be honet id have the standard alarm set up taken off & a cat 1 fitted.

personally i dont like turbines (i know i will get killed now, by the die hard fans for saying that !!) each to their own & all that, but i prefer phase 2 alloys.

i completely agree with this, you only need to see the prices ppl want for their cars, they are more than a prkers price guide.

ive just seen when this post began ! back in feb! i got quoted rediculous with them, ended up paying nearly half with elephant, elephant were also cheaper for a qoute on my next car (grp 19) than they were on my valver !!

i use normal unleaded in the valver- from tescos, ive heard that the fuel is poo, but no one has proven it to me, so i guess ill just keep on using it ! i reckon all that optimax lark is bull sh*t any way.

just been looking on the autotrader, there are 4 black ones on there, 4 or 5 exclusives, and a couple of yellow ones (which are up for more money) there are no mk1s in red !!
