basically the other week some van whacked my mirror back, and on sat night some else did the same to the other one!
they click back in but they are still lose, how do i fit them back properly, they are electric and still adjust.
they are on my 16v,
any help appreciated.

i got the door on my car keyed by some f*ckwitt, they are probably jealous ! the c*ck also did 3 other cars down the road aswell, so i wasnt singled out,.

id get a quote on the rsi and the valver, then you can see how different they are,
i personally would go for the 16v but then i am bias

but as you say its all about the insurence on the thing aswell,
or a 1.6 clio, prob wont cost a load as its a warm hatch and not a hot one like the others.
the one which was written off as reported by the tv journalists was not a production car (according to stuff posted up on here) it simply had the prototype number one.

i asked this question a few months back, (172 engine in a 16v) and got told the same,
but from what i remember some one was talking about putting a cup engine in their valver/williams
(i thought they were the same engine, 172&cup !!!)
i cant remember who it was though !

and after the rain the sun roof is leaking a bit, so waters coming in,round the interior light bit,

if the current 172 is not in bhp,then how come i have a renault brochure which states that the 172 is in bhp and not in ps ?
i have the brochure from when my old man got one 2 months ago.
i second this, mines on 88k and a 1994 m plate, ive had it since june02 though
apart from the heating packing up and the clutch cable snapping last year its been fine !!
