Lightweight flywheel is ok but the revs do drop quicker on the downchanges, so your rev-matching has to be on point to get smooth shifts.

Or try disconnecting the negative for 10 minutes, when you reconnect, turn the ignition on but don't start it. It should say on the dash "New battery installed yes/no".
Use the stalk controls to select yes and hold the button in.
