Yes like I said you can bypass on the ph1 somehow as there ps kits to do it. Ph2 has feck all for it
Think we should leave this now before Jaff explodes :p
f**k my bad pmsl :o
I always assumed they didn't have one like the ph2 as I haven't seen one problem with one on them, and the iMob kits to bypass it all is available unlike the ph2.
Sorry graham :o
Depend who wired it in and to what. If your good enough with electrics then it should be an alright job.
But if your feeling lazy and fancy getting the mk1 god on it , get martin to work his magic
Good luck mate, I tried to get a 80 set from renparts and they haven't got a single N3 set in.
Hence why I got a new N3 uch which I don't need but Ahwell lol
Check all the basics, make sure the loom isn't broke near the bend bit on , where it mounts to the battery tray. Make sure you haven't bent any ecu pins either
The door locks ain't ? The meggy ones won't fit the Clio mech.
Meaning you'd need two keys, one for the ignition of he's using the meggy one, and the Clio key for the doors
Studs stay put in the hub, meaning if you have your wheels off often, the spacer will still stay on the hub.
And it's a dam sight easier to put a wheel on studs as all the lining is all done.
Dont knock me , yes the longer bolts will be fine if you don't take the wheels off often.
Some...
Got two weird looking headphone shaped keys anywhere with two buttons on. Toad alarms ( ones I've worked on ) have had those feckers and the big button needs pressing to get it to start on key,
Nice project btw, gives me even more hope to buy a valver/willy to restore.
Give it a good polish...
16mm hubCentric non bolt type will be fine, the rear is machined to be supported by the hub, and then the front is machined like the hub to support the wheel.
Get a stud kit with longer studs if your worried. Thats what I'm doing instead of longer bolts
Yeah I had My kit from there, never got a guide come through via email or anything.
Pritty simple stuff tho, just match the leds upto the ones in the bags. Should be labeled aswell?
I'm sure mine said
climate control
stereo/hazard panel
dash cluster
radio display
and so on
I tried them when I want one for the dci , aparently they don't make one suitable for the common rail 1.5s. Would be lovely if they did, would mean I can run Bosch fuel parts rather than being stuck to Delphi
saying that, the site looks allot different since the last time I checked. Might try...
Ooooo it will be for diesels aswell! Awsome!
Bout time someone did one. After all it only an injection computer on dervs.
Don't know if I've missed it, what happened to puttin the Vtec lump into this ?
