400notes for all the parts to build it back up again. so better intercooler and such will have to wait til winter.

No no no, the UCH has a tab on the back of it, which the holder for those relays hang off.

going to rebuild the head after a valve made a break for it. ( well bent valves *)
ive got another head which has been skimmed way to much, but has straight and true valves in, so i am going to lap those valves into my current head.
ive checked the clearances before with feeler gauges. BUT...
Yupp, my house has them in every room give or take.

Neither have I , usually it's timing belts failing/ fuel systems f**king up or bottom end bearings making a break for it.
Saying that, this was a second hand engine that me and the old retired guy at work rebuilt the bottom end on. The head just got cleaned and put back on.

Its desided to drop a valve and took a peice out of the piston ( cylinder 2 ) ( don't ask me how, never heard a k9k do that)
Lucky enough no other damage, injectors are fine and thankfully missed the aftermath , just...
Your best bet is going to some paint store near you and getting them to mix you a little bottle of colour.
Your doing it the right way by doing it , bit by bit.

Is 2000 grit /2500 grit wet and dry good enough to take the edge off fresh paint? Had my dci's side painted out last week after I smashed it up, the paints not orange peel as such but the rest of the car looks like glass where as that whole side doesn't.
So my plan was to go over with 2000...
Fill with base coat. Let dry. Then lacquer over the top. Then flat back down
that's how I've seen it on DW.
Paints te gone off by the sound of what you have said.
Get a needle and build It up in layers. If it still does it, get another fresh kit from a proper paint shop.
You would have to be driving like a proper t**t to even use the full potential of them on the road (daily )

Rubber hoses will be fine
