To answer your other point, one of the rear brake line pipes is no longer available from Renault. I went for an aftermarket braided line instead, from Pro Line braided lines.

Have a look at the hard plastic vacuum line from the inlet manifold to the brake booster. They can melt and collapse, giving you the symptoms you've described.

Possible, but I don't really know much about that setup. Whether it's an external or internal filter.

Unless you have access to an ultrasonic bath and a way of pulsing the injectors, you won't really be able to clean them properly tbh.

Would hazard a guess at it being a fuel issue, likely an injector.

Might be alright on other engines, but engine cleaners on F4R's tend to wash away the crud inside that's keeping them quiet and alive 😂

How do those proper Renault seal tools look/work Jon? I've never had the chance to see one.

Mine will rev to about the same ~7800 with the RSTuner map. Definitely stay away from that though.

I use BC top mounts with their coilovers and there's less noise over bumps compared to oem mounts. On big pot holes, you do get a big solid bang though sometimes. Obviously avoid them if you can.

Was using Autosmart Prestige, but since using BH Autofoam I find it's not needed. Probably would still use it on a really dirty car though.

Subframe is no different. Rear beams are all the same too, apart from the cup packed stub axles are a bit thicker so wheels are spaced out more.

Just had new PS3's fitted all-round on mine (15"). After using R1R's for a few years you can defintely feel the softer profile. Did a bit of weaving side to side and i thought something on the rear end was broken, a very floaty feeling 😂

I can see the Mk3 chassis dominating now. Much better chassis, but weight wise it's a bit heavier. So whether they'll allow different levels of weight reduction between them and the Mk2 to keep the balance of performance equal.

No harm in doing them all. Need to check mine at some point, they were all done with ACF-50 a few years ago.

I'll have to try that then on mine. Tried looking for the specs, but could only find the rpm in different modes and it's the same rpm in mode 3 and 4 in reverse.

Is that on the M12 Stubby you mean? Arrow mode 4 is auto shut off in forward, in reverse it 'should' be the same power as mode 3... I've never noticed it being anymore powerful between the two modes. There does seem to be some freak tools though, like you say the torque test channel did one...
