As Dan says, for smaller stuff if you can put it in plastic tubs/bottles with the solution inside and just run water in the tank.
Saves contaminating a load of cleaner just for a few bits.

Air tools require massive amounts of air yes, circa 14cfm of air and a lot of volume in tank size in region of a few hundred litres.
We'll all say yes because we like red tools 😂
Watch a few videos on comparisons and then make your own mind up, I'd say.
Don't think I've seen the Milwaukee lose out to the DeWalt on any test I've watched tbh.
