Haha! :D Ian, didn't realise you were on here as well, its Rich's friend Jon - we met on a Ditchling run one morning when I had the Primera.
CDG is ok especially if you get through to the right person, as for servicing costs give them a call, I believe they have multiple phones ;)
Bye for now!
Good to meet up on Sat mate btw. Good luck in your hunt for a car - sure one will turn up.
For the price that red 328 seems pretty good!
Still addicted to the sound of the Dave F. Went out early before the snow came on Sunday and had a blast. God it sounds good!
That's lovely! Shame its an auto, but mileage and condition are spot on.
I think the beemer is doing 30 odd to the gallon, but I use it so rarely I've never worked it out. Rear pads and disks cost me £70 delivered, so costs aren't major league bad. My insurance is £250 a year as well.
Mine is...
Tis a great video this one and they are quick. We've already had a lengthy discussion about this one on Northloop though! At that speed I'd want a crash helmet and they go past the flag waving marshalls far to quick, which is a bit dangerous.

Love the DR vid's!
Can see loads of people now approaching a bend covering the brake with their left foot, pressing it and smacking their head on the windscreen. :D
I sprayed that wheel acid stuff on and left it for half hour. The wheels are now silver again, was quite impressed with that. Should've tried it on the bodywork as well!
Good old shower gel!
Was in a funny mood yesterday, so after cleaning the BM again I decided that after 8k and 7 months it was about time the other thing got a clean. Not sure about the 2 bucket method, but I did use 5 buckets to get it clean. Not so much covered in mud, but road grime.
That'll be the...
Nice to see everyone last night. Got back in an hour and a holf or so - not too bad.
Dan, where's the pics of mine. I cleaned it specially for this meet! ;)
Maybe, but then i'd reckon 90% of Cups have been hammered. If it had a good service book then I wouldn't rule it out, though there are some bargains on here at the mo!
All the Cup press cars were probably 02 or 52 reg one's - at least the vast majority would be.
As for the problems you are describing, pads and disks are easy peasy, and the wheels could be refurbed for a couple of hundred. I wouldn't let it put me off a car, but would just use it as a...
